Portsmouth Little League fields teams for all levels of play for children between the ages 8 and 12 from Newington, Greenland and Portsmouth who want to participate in organized baseball. Children are placed on a team in one of our four divisions of play – we have a No Cut Policy. On average, 225 children play in the league each year. Games and practices are held at three different fields several evenings per week and weekends throughout the months of April, May, June and July. This past year we initiated our fourth division, the Challenger Division (with children from Rockingham, Strafford and York counties), which is a program for mentally and physically challenged youth (boys & girls between the ages of 5 and 18), helping them to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.

We are a volunteer organization and in order to provide all families in need with assistance, we rely on the service organizations and businesses in our community to help support the league.

In an attempt to keep our players safe and eliminate the need to have them solicit donations at entrances of local businesses, we have developed an advertising program for businesses to show their support for our Little League. I have attached a list of the different levels from which you can choose to support us. Small or large, your donation is welcome and much appreciated.
